Chaya Leia Aronson is a Registered Nurse, Certified Practitioner and Teacher of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, bellydancer, doula, and mother. Nancy Lustgarten is a Licensed Acupuncturist, and a trained facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie. She will teach a session on Transformative Inquiry, which is a simple process of questioning your stressful thoughts and beliefs. It is useful in exploring any issue or relationship, past or present. These simple questions allow you to closely examine the issue to find what's true for you. This can lead to powerful and liberating shifts in perspective. Some examples of stressful thoughts we might want to explore include, "That doctor/nurse shouldn't have...." or "During that difficult birth I wish I had...." or "Hospitals should...." Read more about Nancy's work here, and learn more about how she helps people return to their true nature which is joyful, loving, and peaceful.

An additional topic will be determined by the interests of the participants. Potential topics include: Introduction to Fetal Palpation; Supporting Families Through Loss; The Business Side of Your Practice;  Optimal Nutrition; Collaborating for the Best Possible Cesarean Birth;  and Protecting the Baby's Experience.
